The LOTUS Project is proud to partner with 120 East State, an exciting new initiative to establish a community-rooted cultural arts center in the heart of Trenton. Located just steps from the State House, 120 East State is reimagining a historic downtown space as a vibrant home for creativity, conversation, and civic engagement—and The LOTUS Project is thrilled to be a core partner.
As the official host venue for all art exhibits and receptions in our 2025 “Remembrance & Resilience” festival series, 120 East State offers the perfect setting for thoughtful reflection and community gathering. Together, we are building a space where art becomes a catalyst for dialogue, healing, and transformation.
Beginning Tuesday, May 7, visitors can experience the Remembrance & Resilience self-guided exhibit at 120 East State. The exhibit will expand over time, gradually unfolding new elements in response to stories of survival, memory, and hope shared throughout the festival. This interactive format invites you to visit more than once—and to witness how community and creativity can shape a living narrative.
The exhibit is open to the public during Wednesday viewing hours, with special guided opportunities during upcoming events (listed below). All guided tours, panels, and discussions begin at 5:30 p.m.
